KPLC Grid and Innovation Conference 2025 Showcases Research and Technology-Driven Solutions for Business Sustainability
The Kenya Power Grid and Innovation Conference 2025 was successfully held from 27–29 August 2025 at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi, under the theme “Accelerating Innovation for Business Sustainability.”
The three-day conference brought together 379 participants from 13 organizations, including representatives from the energy sector, academia, government agencies, parastatals, and the private sector. The event provided a platform for sharing innovative ideas, research findings, and practical solutions aimed at enhancing operational excellence and supporting Kenya Power’s long-term strategic objectives.
Strong Participation and Competitive Innovation Process
The conference attracted 115 innovation abstracts from staff across various departments and professional disciplines. Following a rigorous evaluation process, 33 abstracts were shortlisted for full-paper development, with 11 research papers and 2 innovation posters advancing to the final presentation stage.
