The Utility Management and Consultancy (UMC) section provides expert consultancy, meter testing and calibration, energy efficiency services, and utility management solutions. It supports Kenya Power operations and delivers professional services to corporate and industry clients across the energy sector.
The Research and Innovation section undertakes research and innovation projects aimed at improving business performance, advancing energy sector knowledge, and supporting evidence-based policy and practice.
Standards Development develops sector standards and promotes ISO quality compliance across IESR programmes and operations. Support Services coordinates human resources, finance, procurement, and campus infrastructure to enable effective delivery of training, research, and consultancy across the institute.
